Algamar develops algae-based products for various sectors, including agriculture, aquaculture, animal consumption, and human use in biomedical and cosmetic applications. Their agricultural division focuses on creating biostimulants and growth promoters derived from seaweed extracts to enhance crop performance. Algamar is recognized as a pioneer in Mexico for developing algae extracts tailored to the agricultural industry.
As of January 1, 2025, Ocean Rainforest, aqquired 60% of the shareholding in Alamarsa S.A. de C.V.
