Ocean Rainforest granted authorization by Faroese Food and Veterinary Agency

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Ocean Rainforest’s processing plant has been granted authorization for the following production activities:

• Receiving of cultured seaweed

• Receiving of wild seaweed from own vessels

• Rinsing, freezing and cold storing of seaweed.

The authorization has been granted pursuant to paragraph 4 in regulation no. 128, dated on 28 December 2010 on authorizations and registrations of food producers. The authorization is subject to the stipulated conditions found in the Food Products Act, legally authorized regulations and the authorized requirements established by the Food and Veterinary Agency to aid compliance with this authorization
